Scott Bradley's

Washington’s Thanksgiving Proclamation

“Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me “to recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness:

“Now, therefore, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the 26th day of November next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty which we have since enjoyed; for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted; for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and, in general, for all the great and various favors which He has been pleased to confer upon us.

And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations, and beseech Him to pardon our national and other trangressions; to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our National Government a blessing to all the people by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns and nations (especially such as have shown kindness to us), and to bless them with good governments, peace, and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us; and, generally, to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best.”

Given under my hand, at the city of New York, the 3d day of October, A. D. 1789.
GO. WASHINGTON

“May this nation again turn our hearts to our God, and recognize His hand in the abundant blessings He has so magnanimously poured out upon the nation and our families!”

  1. With all the smart technology in this modern era, why can’t we discover politicians with the insight and integrity of our founding fathers? As for today, check out US Representative Thomas Massie of Kentucky. He seems to be the only elected US representative that fully understands, rightly represents, and votes for Constitutional principles 100% of the time. Hmm? How does he repeatedly do that? Could he like Washington, possibly be an incorruptible and vigilant advocate, one who has studied the Constitution in-depth?

We the people need to be individually valiant and broaden the ranks of those who honor the Constitution. Due to Dr. Bradley’s life long dedication and instruction, I am no longer tossed to and fro by questionable politicians whose votes and smooth tongues ignorantly betray the Constitution. My feet are now firmly planted in Constitutional soil, and I now hold previously unrealized power within. Truth is power, and knowledge is the needed power to Constitutionally halt the abuse of man’s rights, gifted to us not from a political party, not from any Government, but from God only. Thank you Scott Bradley for making the Constitution so clear and available to Congressmen, Legislators, laymen, students in our public schools, and victims of bipartisan politics. People should voluntarily contribute both to your cause, and to their bright and securable future, as they digest your courses and ongoing webinars. Many Thanks

  2. I am very grateful to find your website, after watching your response to the church’s stance on the fake pandemic jabs. You make so much sense and everything you say rings true. I want to thank you for encouraging us to stay in the church despite these ignorant recommendations by men who profess to receive direct revelation from our Heavenly Father for the running of the church on the earth today, as this has been the biggest thorn in my side that I’ve ever faced as a member of the Lird Jesus Christ’s true church restored by Joseph Smith upon the earth today. Thank you so much for your words of wisdom and counsel an I wish we could hear more from you. I will search you tube for more videos put out by you.
    Many thanks again
    Sincerely
